The Friends of Pat Nichol Bursary is named in memory of coach, public speaker, and friend to all, Pat Nichol.
Friends of Pat Nichol have raised an additional $500 for the Bursary, meaning there will now be two $500 awards available for Bridges students and graduates. Funds can be used to support the recipient in their next steps towards self-sustaining goals, including employment, self-employment, or further education.
“From the people she interviewed on her TV show, which she championed for herself, to coaching people how to speak in public, to her hordes of adoring fans of her column in Senior Living magazine and to the countless cashiers everywhere that she handed her ‘You Make A Difference’ cards to, my beautiful Mom made a positive difference in many lives while she was here on earth.”

We are so grateful to the friends of Pat Nichol for their generous contributions towards supporting the dreams of Bridges students and alumni, and for choosing to honor her memory with this Bursary.
The application deadline is Monday, June 6 @ 2pm. Applications can be emailed to info@bridgesforwomen.ca or dropped off during office hours at the Fort Street office.
