Our 2026 AGM and Community Conversation
Every year, Bridges for Women brings members, Board and neighbours together to look back on the past twelve months, vote on the decisions that shape the organization, and talk honestly about what comes next. This year’s Annual General Meeting and Community Conversation happens Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Suite 201, 3045 Douglas St. in Victoria. Whether you’ve been with Bridges since the early days or you’re just learning what we do, there’s a chair for you, and you’ll leave knowing where we stand and where we’re headed.
How the evening unfolds
Doors open at 4:30, and the first half hour is for registration and a meet and greet, so come early and say hello. The Annual General Meeting runs from 5:00 to 5:30. From 5:30 to 6:30, we open things up for a Community Conversation, which is the part of the night where your voice shapes what Bridges does next.
Want a vote? Become a member first
Only current members of the Society can vote at the AGM. Membership is an annual $5 fee, and you can complete the online membership form here. Current members will get an email the week before the meeting with everything they need.
The people behind the table
Your 2026 Bridges Board: Anne Hodge, Executive Director; Carolyn Mandrusiak, Board Chair; Hollis Thorau, HR Committee Chair; Gillian Wotherspoon, Treasurer; and Bonnie Lewis and Dana Small, Members at Large.
