our vision
Every woman affected by violence or abuse will have the economic security to sustain herself and her family, in safety, health and freedom.

programs Our innovative programs are offered in three different formats Bridges Employment Program, Distance Learning, and Mentoring. We support women trauma and abuse survivors to acquire personal and essential skills that allow them to find and keep fulfilling employment. We also provide women and the general public with opportunities to volunteer alongside our professional staff.

For over 20 years, Bridges has developed their own Curriculum designed to help women recognize and change abuse-related patterns. Our Curriculum focuses on improving work-related skills, renewing focus on the world of work, developing a vision of the future, planning goals to move forward and to build personal & financial independence.

Women gain skills such as self-awareness; confidence; the ability to set achievable goals; give and receive feedback; and practice effective communication. Women identify how the impacts of abuse affect their lives and develop strategies to overcome.
