 staff Nine full and part-time staff work with many dedicated contractors & volunteers along with our BridgesIT Support Services. As much as possible, Bridges strives for a rich diversity in background, knowledge, training, skills and experience on our staff and volunteer team. Staff share an understanding that successful change requires a safe environment and access to opportunities and resources for skill development. The staff have the personal and professional qualities to create safety and trust, and they facilitate learning opportunities and challenges. The Bridges approach reflects adult learning, experiential education, feminist and person-centered principles. board The Bridges Board is comprised of active community members, wonderful women with diverse educational and professional backgrounds. These women bring their knowledge, expertise and interests to support the ongoing work of Bridges. Currently we have nine women serving on our board including a program graduate, the Participant Liaison.
