Vision: Every woman affected by violence or abuse will have the economic security to sustain herself and her family, in safety, health and freedom.

who we help Bridges offers programs and support to women who are overcoming the impacts of abuse and trauma. Bridges is not a crisis centre; our professional staff provide women with an assessment of their present situation to make positive changes immediately with the aid of our referral system of community support agencies.

Our goal is to empower the applicant to start moving forward with her life. A woman can continue in one of our programs, be referred to another support agency, or pick up one of our Print Publications or uses our online Directory,

We believe every person should have the opportunity for transformation, so we continue to expand our “award-winning employability programs for women trauma survivors”. Where?
We now serve the general public with our new online site Bridgesworks Training & Learning Centre, where we offer eLearning as an extension of our employment courses. We offer training courses to professionals, grad students, facilitators and agencies working in our sector. Bridges eServices can assist those who would like to customize our approach with online course development & online hosting services.

One of the vital strengths of Bridges is that participants learn and support each other in a group setting, while building personal and community supports.
