bridgesIT support services In response to Bridges forward-thinking and growing requirements for IT Services & Technology, BridgesIT Support Services began in 2004. Support is provided to staff, board members and volunteers, contractors, alumnae, students and also women in the community. BridgesIT Services maintain and develop a CAP Station, Moodle Online Administration & Course Development, a HelpDesk, a virtual reality office, Camosun College distance learning, 10+2 full service Digital Lab.

Bridges is 95% supported by technology donations from our regular Community IT Partners; local businesses, government and educational organizations. We participate in a regular IT refresh-cycle which gve way to our "women@home" project, which is fully supported by our IT Volunteer who builds full workstations in our A+ TestLab from recycled-out hardware, for students and alumnae who are eager to further their career research & studies at home.

Inspired by our community partners, we have developed BridgesIT Refresh Policy
in partnership with the Encorp eWaste recycling stewardship program. All technology items are recycled to our local Hartland Landfill eWaste site.

USB Drive Sponsorship call: We are looking for a community partner to donate a bulk order of USB Flash Drives to our students, alumnae and volunteers. They will also be sold to raise funds to continue this initiative. Please contact Laurie our Fund Development Director.

We could not do what we do without our Community IT Partners.
Thank you very much for supporting Bridges. Special thank you to Victoria Freenet for supporting our growing eServices Division. Please contact our HelpDesk with any technology donations you may have, or if you have the time and skills to offer our journey into the future.
